Why a religion/faith/spirituality blog? Even in a secularized culture, even for people who profess no religious affiliation, theology has a way of insinuating itself into the conversation. A candidate commits political suicide if she/he doesn’t make a show of embracing a religious doctrine. Sacred text serves as ammunition in our so-called culture wars. If people don’t sit in a pew, bow at a mosque, or pray at a synagogue, religion — if not the faith, itself, then the topic — will still find them. Here? All are welcome.

    Susan,
I have sent you e-mails and they all have been returned. Then I noticed that your e-mail address was changed from scampbell to campbell. However, I still cannot seem to get anything to you. Are you ignoring me, or is this just a snafu?

There was a link from the economics blog Naked Capitalism to your blog, glad I followed it.
