Glastonbury-Based TopCoder Announces Student-Competition To Design Satellites For NASA
Glastonbury-based TopCoder announced Tuesday that the next Zero Robotics High School Tournament will take place this Fall. The tournament offers high school students the opportunity to design experiments that will be tested in space. The program challenges students to write their own algorithms to fly the Synchronized Position Hold, Engage, Reorient, Experimental Satellites, or SPHERES. Finalists will compete in a live championship aboard the International Space Station.
Teams may register now by going here and either logging in or creating an account. The competition starts on Sept. 8 with a live webcast.
