Connecticut libraries want the public to know they can borrow digital copies of books in addition to the traditional bound volumes.

In order to do that, the Digital Bookmobile National Tour will be making stops in Madison, Aug. 29 , and Wallingford, Aug. 30. A full tour schedule can be found here.

Visitors will be able to learn how to download media to their portable device and the truck will have interactive workstations and exhibits.

Some libraries in Connecticut offer not only e-books, but also audio books and music from their websites at no cost.
