The 30th annual Connecticut Invention Convention will host more than 600 students on the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. The event will start at 10 a.m. with a keynote speech by William P. Herdegen III, president and chief operating officer of The Connecticut Light and Power Company.
Students start preparing in the fall with teachers asking their students to think of a problem and how they might solve it. Students compete locally and then move on to state wide competition.
