AT&T announced its numbers for last quarter and two things jumped out at me from Ina Fried’s post on AllthingsD.com.

According to CFO John Stephens, 62% of AT&T customers have a smartphone. In a Pew survey from earlier this year, 53% of people said they had a smartphone. The numbers are rising quickly.

Secondly, AT&T says people are sticking with their service. This goes against what the pundits said when Verizon introduced the iPhone.
