The numbers aren’t huge, but Nissan says it’s Leaf electric car is the best selling car of it’s type with 25,000 vehicles in customers driveways.
The car has been on sale for a little over a year. To give some perspective, Toyota sold 404,886 Camrys last year. Tesla is believed to have sold over 4,000 of it’s Model S.
Both the Leaf and the Tesla are fully electric powered with no gas powered engine to charge the battery like a Chevy Volt, which Nissan considers to be it’s main competition. Both cars have sold around 1,400 cars a month this year.
Do you have a Leaf? A Volt? Or a Tesla? What’s your experience with them?
