Here’s a look at Western Michigan’s loss to Minnesota

And here are the Broncos’ updated season stats

UConn (2-1) plays at Western Michigan (1-2)Saturday.

The win over Maryland was a big one but it’ll be even bigger if the Huskies win in Kalamazoo, Mich.

The Broncos beat UConn 38-31 in East Hartford last year. Quarterback Alex Carder went off in the place. He was 37 of 51 for 479 yards and five touchdowns (Johnny McEntee threw for 300 and four scores for the Huskies in a loss). Carder is 188 yards passing yards shy of 1,000 for the season.

I know a win is a win but if we consider beating a bad Maryland team and potentially beating Western Michigan as big wins that really shows just where this program is right now. For a good program these games would be gimmes and not toss ups. Kind of sad that we still aren’t at that point but maybe this is the start of something.

Can’t let this QB get started like he did last year.
Get in his face early and often!

This would be a perfect time for the Huskies to get back to back wins. It would be a first under Coach P.

    Go Huskies.
