Don’t think he has what it takes to make it in the NFL. He was good for us but that doesn’t make him a good player for the NFL. Maybe he can make a decent living as a middle of the road player in Canada.
“He’s really an impeccable character kid, great football player. He has all the tools necessary to be a great player in the NFL,” Johnson said. “He’s going to get his opportunity.”
The last couple of sentences of the statement says it all. This young man gave it his best and not always under the best conditions for a receiver. He played a hybrid position and did well with it.
Nobody with more spirit on The Husky Walk. There is not a word big enough to wish this young man good luck and that of his program supporting family also.
Hope to see Joe Griff here on occasion in the future…
