Former Saints defensive quality control coach Mike Cerullo, now on the UConn football staff, is alleged to have been a “whistleblower” in the New Orleans Saints bounty scheme [read more about that in previous post by Desmond]. Some will applaud him; others will not. As Desmond works on this story today, we’re looking for your thoughts, whether you have played sports or not:

1. When someone sees something they believe is wrong, should they “blow the whistle?”

UConn Has 22 On Big East All-Academic Team

UConn just sent a press release with its 22 football players named to the 2011 All-Academic Big East team. A player must have a cumulative grade-point index of at least 3.0 and completed a minimum of two semesters of academic work.
