What’s goin on?

Eastern Christian Academy (Md.) defeated Windsor 4-2 Sunday in the 7 on 7 on 7 passing camp tournament as part of UConn Coach Paul Pasqualoni’s big camp/evaluation month.

Thirty teams participated hailing from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and ECA.

ECA beat Windsor 4-2 with a touchdown good for one point. There were no extra points.

This is all the info I have on the event and how it all went so far. Will pass along what I can when I can.

Truthfully, this sounds like the rantings of a sore loser (parent). It’s one thing to suppose this or that or to point out the wealth of talent that was there besides ECA players, but why does it have to be at the expense of them? Why, in your mind, do the ECA players have to be cheaters or less of an athlete for other players to shine? The fact that your so worried about putting down the ECA players proves that they were very good. However, there was a wealth of talent there and Coach P wouldn’t be where he is if he didn’t know how to spot it. It shows very little class when you chose to put down children. What makes the ECA QB look so good to PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE GAME is a couple of things; his decision making is usually impeccable, his ball placement is usually dead on, his ability to read defenses is beyond his age, when you couple that with the weapons at his disposal, sure he looks great. That’s part of what makes any QB look great. Not sure what games you were watching, but both ECA teams had very few players who played both ways for very few downs. It’s also very awful that you would throw blatant lies about fees being paid and ECA riding a tour bus, which would be their business if they did! They came in 10 cars and a 15 pass van that broke down! This also shows that you don’t know Coach P at all!! He has been coaching for decades and is above reproach! He wouldn’t give you a stick of gum if he thought it was anywhere near some type of thought of a violation!! The bottom is this, you’re grown enough to write these lies and put down these children, so be man enough in the future to accept your losses with some dignity. By the way, the 2nd ECA team was 7th & 8th graders mostly so that train IS going to keep rolling. You’ll have plenty more to lie about should you choose to continue to take the low road.

I love this comment – love it!!! Especially the part about putting down kids. Should never happen in any circumstance, any time or any place… Good job saying what you feel and supporting stuff with facts. Love it.

It looks like 25 plus teams showed up. Picture perfect day up in Storrs. Alot of talent shined. Red Lions Eastern Christian Academy brought their pro 7 on 7 team (Did they pay the entry fee or did Pasquloni pay it!). ECA studs played both ways. Little in the way of substitution. They were there to win! They are schooled in 7on7′s. A lot more physical i.e. holding, pushing, that refs should have allowed but then they are ECA! ECA QB, with all his hype, looked average. Tall and thin with little mobility. I think his Studs make him look better than he really is. They got a quick scare in their first game against Hand when Hand tied them 2-2 though ECA went on to win 4-2. Hand players stated that they had half their team and had to start quite a few fresh/soph. What if???? Game of Day: Hand vs. New Hampshire in a shootout to decide who got into the playoffs. Ball placed at 5 yard line with one shot at scoring. With all the teams and fans looking on both Hand and NH put on an ariel TD assualt. Hand won it in 4 shootout when NH kid drop ball on goal line. Finals had Windsor 5 Star FB team vs. ECA. Windsor gave ECA a fight but in the end ECA took the title/trophy with them on their private bus back to MD (or is it still DE?) UConn coaches got a good look at some great State talent that in the past has been overlooked. Its there for the taking. Hope Pasquloni is true to his word of keeping the CT talent home.
