In The House At Byrd Stadium

We’re in – been in actually but just wanted to check in and say – What’s good from College Park, Md., where the UConn Huskies face the Maryland Terrapins and coach Randy Edsall, formerly of UConn.

Game time is 12:30 (SNY). Please check out the twitter feed here. Courant Columnist Jeff Jacobs and myself we’ll throwing up thoughts there throughout the game.

    Hey: I am a Maryland alum/Terp fan with a recent UConn grad. It was great to see all the UConn fans at Maryland! You were loud and it was great to hear your energy/passion. It was a beautiful day, and as usual, the campus hosted this game in true Terp-style. There is no way we can compare ourselves to Michigan or Notre Dame for the college football game day experience, but truthfully Byrd and the surrounding campus/buildings/facilities are a such a step up from Renshler that I hope UConn fans could at least begin to appreciate one of the reasons Coach Edsall made the move to UMD. Let’s put the past behind us and begin to support Coach Edsall. He is a human like all of us and has made mistakes, but it is time to forgive him and wish him well at Maryland. It was a competitive game yesterday and a good match-up between the two teams. I hope everyone enjoyed our Maryland campus and you will consider sending your family member to the University of Maryland. Thanks for coming to the game!
