Former UConn wide receiver Kashif Moore’s contract has been picked up by the Indianapolis Colts, the Courant has learned.
Moore was waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
The 5 foot 9 Moore is en route to Indy right now where he will join former Huskies running back Donald Brown and linebacker Scott Lutrus who is on injured reserve.
Interestingly enough too, the Colts and Bengals play a preseason game this week.
He still has to make the team but Kash got another opportunity quickly. As we like to say around here, good things happen to good people.
