Kashif Moore Talks About Being Waived Today By Bengals
What’s goin on?
Just caught up with former UConn receiver Kashif Moore in the airport after being waived today by the Cincinnati Bengals…
“I definitely want to thank the Bengals organization for giving me an opportunity,” Moore said by phone a few minutes ago. “It’s back to the grind now, back to work. I’m going to go back home, continue to stay in shape and hopefully get another call. How have you been?”
Typical Kashif, right, to ask?
Anyway, here’s how Moore said he learned of the news.
“I didn’t get a chance to talk to Coach [Marvin] Lewis yet. We actually had a walk-through and the area scout that I knew, that used to come up to UConn, he’s the one that told me about the roster moves and that they were going to put me on waivers. He said I definitely made a great impression on the coaches and when I go home to just stay in shape and look forward to something good happening. I told him I would.
“You know, a lot of people would have liked to had been in that place. Going as hard as I was everyday I didn’t have any regrets.”

Kashif is a indianapolis colt now!
No mention of looking for a REAL job.
Outstanding attitude.
Please NYJ give Kash a call! He’s definately better than some of the bums they have out there now!
What a great attitude, and solid football skills to boot. I have a strong feeling Kashif is not done on the gridiron. He is putting himself in a position to succeed. Makes me think of the movie “Facing The Giants” and the part where Mr. Bridges tells a beleaguered Coach Grant Taylor about two farmers- one who prepared for rain and one who didn’t.
Class kid through and through. My son is gonna be crushed.
Kashif will be fine though. He’ll find success on or off the field.
