Mailbag May 25: Any Chance The Big East Approaches Florida State, Clemson, Maybe Miami To Join?

Q: With all these rumors about Clemson/FSU leaving the ACC, any chance the Big East would approach them about exapnsion? If the league had FSU, Clemson, and maybe brought back Miami to go along with Boise State, those are some big names and could potentially lead to a bigger TV deal than the one the ACC got, George, Festus, MO.

A: Wouldn’t that be something? Good question. I haven’t heard anything like that but …yeah, thinking outside the box, that would be something. All three would be nice basketball fits, too, at least on the mens side. Clemson has its nose open for an invitation from somebody maybe the Big East should send them one.
