Q: On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate DeLeon on the hot seat?  I know it is year two but Coach P needs to keep his options open to keep this job long term.  Friend or not he already took one in the name of loyalty while in Syracuse. Eric, Dublin, Ohio

A: Zero.

      Uconn football is going backwards instead of forward fast…Deleone has been riding the coat tails of others for years to get his jobs and it pathetic that we haven’t been able to recruits good receiver and especially a Quarterback since Dan Orlovsky left many moons ago… Coach P. nothing personal..but a bad hire from the very beginning… it’s all about recruiting and coaches who can truly relate to the young kids coming out of high school to the next level…. I big fat ZERO is my rating… until the powers to be at Uconn make a big change in the coaching staff as soon as possible…or else the Rent will become a graveyard for all Saturday homes games……Two years in a row we can’t even beat Western Michigan… give me a break… a very disgusted Uconn alum and diehard fan!!!!!!
