I’m thinking that Whitmer has improved ..he knows how to run for his life better …As for McCombes, well last year he ran for over 1000yds…So what’s different this year??? ..3 things things..1) the o-line is horrible..period !! 2)just like Whitmer and the same lack luster o-line, he can’t slip thru holes that don’t exsist…and most importantly 3)the OC Deleone needs to retire..the offensive sets are old school, predictable, and simply not relevant in college football today..which ultimately makes them non-competitive..

How about Lyle McCombs making a play? How about McCombs breaking a tackle in a big spot? How about Coach P out coaching the opposing coach to win the game?

Whitmer has gotten better as the season has gone on as the O lone has gotten worse. I just hope the kid doesn’t get hurt with the lack of blocking by the O lone.

Can’t help noticing the difference between Kevin Ollie and Paul Pasqualoni. Unlike Pasqualoni, Ollie has truly been asked to coach a team that has been decimated by graduations and transfers. Also unlike Pasqualoni, you don’t hear Coach Ollie making excuses as to why his team isn’t going to be competitive. I don’t know how Coach Ollie will do, but what a refreshing difference from Coach Pasqualoni. My sense tells me Coach Ollie will be coaching at UConn LONG after we’ve forgoten about the Coach Pasqualoni and his sidekick George DeLeone
