Richard Lagow, the 6-6, 220-pound quarterback from Plano, Tx., who committed to UConn in June has confirmed his commitment to the school.

Lagow did not sign a letter on intent day in order to think the decision thorough a little more with his family.

He tweeted and confirmed his decision with the Courant Friday Morning.

Lagow is the third quarterback committed to UConn for 2013 along with 6-4 Tim Boyle of Xavier-Middletown and 6-5 Kivon Taylor of Grady High in Atlanta.

    The postion of quarterback looks pretty strong for the future. If we can fix the line the football should flying around the Rent for years to come. Color me excited!!!

    This committment makes me giddy. I thought from the twitter banter that WVU might be his destination. Now we got some great competition for the QB spot.
