UConn Football 2013-14 Recruiting Update

by Categorized: Recruiting Tagged: , Date:

What’s goin on  – a bit of news I’ve tweeted out today already.

You know by now that 2013 tight end recruit Jordan Fuchs is prep school bound. He’s an excellent hooper but could use some polish at tight end and is expected to get it at Milford Academy.

It’s my undestanding roster/scholarship spots are tight right now so Fuchs also falls into the spacing/development category – DT Michael Boland and LB Chris Britton likely fall into it, too.

One of them could make it in if Chasz Wright doesn’t make it in this year. UConn is waiting on his transcripts and  may not make the cut. If he doesn’t, one of the aformentioned three could bump prep school and joing the squad this summer.

That’s the way it looks at the moment. If none of them make it in then they’ll join the 2014 class with QB Logan Marchi and Dean Junuior College Jason Sylva and Rennick Bryan.
