UConn Football Lands TE Jordan Fuchs (Updated)
UConn has landed an outstanding athlete in 6 foot 7, 210-pound tight end Jordan Fuchs of Christ The King (NY) High.
This is a big get for the Huskies. Haven’t heard anything yet on whether or not he’ll play basketball but he had a lot of scholarships offer that way too as many of you know.
UPDATE:
UConn basketball coaches did not recruit Fuchs and have not talked to him about playing basketball. He is considered a mid-major hoops prospect.
Football recruiting is getting better, folks. It has to – had to…

I love this recruit. One thing that struck me about some of our competition recently was how they were able to create mis-matches against other teams and us as well. Many used very tall wide receivers that might have been undersized Tight ends. I thought we should have used Ryan Griffin this way with his speed and great talent. Maybe we will see this with the crop of TE’s we’re getting in. Hope so, because if we had ever used Ryan this way it would have been unfair abuse of the DB’s in our league!!
YESSSSS!!!!!!!! JORDAN FUCHS IS NFL BOUND ! TAUGHT HE WAS WIDE RECIEVER :O
Tommy Meyers is the real deal. He’ll start at TE next year. The kid is a stud.
He is and so is that big Matt Walsh
Dez,
Isn’t this our 4th TE in this class? Seems like a bit of an overload of scolarships at that position with guys all in the same year…
Great news Dez!
Jordan welcome to the Huskies. Come on by my house for spaghetti and meatballs whenever you want!
Looks like he had an offer to Florida as well. Hope this isn’t another Aaron Hernandez moment!

Having another body for basketball that won’t take a scholarship is a huge get. I wonder if Ollie was in on this. Any idea Dez if he was part of this process? It seems like he would have to have been if he is going to play basketball.
Looks like he needs some meat on his bones. Navin is 5’8 and hasnt seen 210 pounds since high school. One good tailgate breakfast with jane and we could get that weight up
Dez,
Article on Rivals says he will play both sports.
Looks like a really good get.
Jesse
DC, looks like football recruiting is improving. Read an interesting article about this cat in the NY Post…sounds like a good get for the Huskies.
