Sorry folks but today’s open practice is now closed to the public due to rain and wet grounds. The action moves inside to Shenkman. Practice still is open to media (Mike Rondon is standing in for me today).

What do you mean watch myself? Is that being professional on your part? Where I work has nothing to do my comments. I’m a former player and I’d like to see the Courant give decent coverage to the last Saturday practice before their 1st game. If you can’t make it to a practice, the manager of your department should make sure someone is there in your place. I know you didn’t write the FHCRE article, but evidently your department thinks that will sell more papers than local coverage of this year’s current team. Do you think any of the other Big East city newspapers printed such meager coverage of their team this past Sunday? I’m not blaming you, I’m blaming the Courant’s sport department.

I said what I had to say – no more words for you. Watch yourself means get your facts before being critical of me. Not doing that is actually LAME

Considering that the Courant had a representative at Saturday’s open practice (indoors due to weather) your Sunday coverage was very LAME especially seeing that it is the Sunday before their 1st game. All you could write is that a 3rd string player left and another player was injured. To rub salt in the wound, you publish a detailed article about FHCRE. We don’t care about FHCRE. We care about our current Huskies. What about who looked good and/or not so good Saturday? Was practice sharp? etc.

Watch yourself. I mentioned that I was NOT going to be at practice Saturday ok? I said there was a substitute for me, OK? Something happened he didn’t make it to the practice, I mentioned that, too. I didn’t run ANYTHING about the former head coach!

I also see you’re chiming in from ESPN.com. Why didn’t you have someone there covering it?!
