We just wrapped up a quick session with head coach Paul Pasqualoni

The big news, big junior defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (knee) is all set and ready to go for Saturday.

That’s huge for an already solid defensive unit, especially in what will be warm weather against a no-huddle offense, more depth has now been added – but the front gets it main run stopper back against Maryland.

Senior defensive Teddy Jennings, Pasqualoni said, had major knee surgery this week and is done for the season.

Pasqauloni said the offensive line has done a good job this week but it’s not all on them to get better up front.

“I think they’re having a good week. They’re practicing well, preparing well, preparing hard, thought we had a couple good days,” Pasqualoni said. “You know, the tight ends have got to take responsibility here as well and the backs and the wide receivers have to block the run support guys. So,this whole thing is not necessarily offensive line but it’s the entire unit and they’re working hard at correcting the mistakes and getting better.”
