He’s a three-star kid by most accounts.

You can’t have too much talent at QB. It is such a difficult position to fill. And once you get a QB the receivers will follow. Still would like to see more dual threat type QBs but when you get a chance to bring in a solid recruit you do it.
The state law in conn. regarding scholarships at state universities which cannot be abused is paying dividends because players know that an injury at the other football factories with year to year athletic financial aid ( scholarships )are not guaranteed as they are at Uconn. Therefore the smart athletes who are also fast, big , and strong will want to go to Uconn.

A welcome commitment. I hope he sticks with UConn. He has been quoted as saying he will continue to attend other camps, but more offers my come in and “right now” he plans on staying committed to U,Conn.
We need a QB in every class. The best way to get better is to keep bringing in the competition.
one of these kids has to redshirt, Cochran will have a degree in 3 years I bet, one of these qb’s will red shirt if not 2 of them. That is good size to see over the line, hope he has some zip.
Last time I checked there can only be one QB on the field at any time (maybe the Jets can get away with 2).
I still think Cochran can lead this team to conference championships and bowl games.
6-6 218 is a big boy for high school. between whitmer, cochran, and this kid, looks like you can assume “pocket passer” for sometime to come

Not THAT uncommon, Jessie. Just about everyone hits on Texas at some point, right? I mean she’s a sexy piece of recruiting territory. Just gotta make sure you don’t upset her daddy, I hear their fond of capital punishment down there. ;o)
