UConn Senior Defensive Jesse Joseph (Achilles Tendon) Out For Season
What a blow…
The preseason without DT Shamar Stephen (he has since returned and played against Maryland Saturday) followed by the loss of reserve defensive end Teddy Jennings (knee) for the season and now: UConn coach Paul Pasqualoni announces today the Huskies have lost senior starter Jesse Joseph for the season after tearing his Achilles Tendon during UConn’s 24-21 win over Maryland in College Park Saturday.
He will have surgery right away and UConn will apply for a medical redshirt.
“Jesse is out for the season,” Pasqualoni said during his regular Sunday call for final thoughts on the previous game. “We will try to appeal, because it happened in the first three games. He did not redshirt. We will try to make an appeal for the redshirt season to apply to this year.”
Next men up?
“E.J. [Norris] is in the mix as is Timmy Willman who has been playing,” Pasqualoni said. “Kenton Adeyemi, he was on the trip. So we put the next guy in and move on.”

well, it was in the article above your post
That’s a damn shame. Good player, experienced, plays against both pass and run. D Line is getting thin from injuries. Time for the back ups to Step Up!
Desmond, I got two questions for you.
1.) Is Teddy Jennings career over? Can he come back next year?
2.)What happened to Jonathan Louis?
Jessie Joseph is a big loss for Uconn
Is there a timeline for Shamar Stephen to return?
he already did dipwad, pay attention
Thank you for the compliment. You are a nice man.
