UConn Tight End Sean McQuillan Treated And Released From Windham Hospital

UConn football tight end Sean McQuillan was treated and released from the Windham Hospital Emergeny Deprtment Saturday after taking a vicious hit in practice this morning from cornerback Taylor Mack a spokesperson told me a short time ago.

UConn is confirming the redshirt sophomore from Glastonbury sustained a concussion from the hit. He had a CT scan. His head, neck and all checked out ok but as with all concussions there will be more testing done and time off is key to a recovery. McQuillan, understandably, is groggy right now as well.

The 6-4, 237-pounder was the No.1 tight end. The Huskies just got thinner here but the good news take away from today is that Sean McQuillan is up and on his feet after one scary moment.

God Is Good…
