HCPP looked really relaxed and very proud of his players standing next to Bill Belicheck (wearing a Trinity Lacrosse jersey). And rightly so. Let’s hope HCPP has this thing figured out this year and the program makes some solid progress in the fall.

You have to love Joe Griffin. Dear Joe, do not forget to check in once in a while although your attention will be with your son in the NFL. I am wishing Ryan gets taken by the Carolina Panthers!

Best Wishes to all these young men. What an exciting day for them, the chance to showcase themselves in front of the NFL personnel. Des, I will be on campus all day, I will look for you.
PS I also know that Johnny Mac has been training hard with top notch people in Ca. and has every right to be there and take his shot. That kid may surprise you, he doesn’t quit. I like that about him.

Even if McEntee doesn’t get a shot in the NFL right now, he can always go the CFL. Do well enough there and he’ll get some looks from the NFL a couple years down the road. Either way, he seems like a hard working kid with a good head between his shoulders and deserves at least a chance to prove himself at the next level.

Joe you know we’re thinking of you, Pat and Ryan. All the best from your UConn Football Family.

I know a lot of people that dont have any quit in them, but it doesnt make them NFL players. McEntee was a below average college quarterback. He did as good as he possibly could. I am not saying he didnt give his best. I just think his best is below average college quarterback.

Can I ask why McEntee is there? I guess it cant hurt to try, but he doesnt have even a .000000001% chance at the NFL.
