Two of UConn’s three commits for 2013 will be in action next Saturday and Monday in Manhattan at the Big Apple Basketball Invitational at Baruch College.

Kentan Facey, the 6-9 power forward from Long Island Lutheran, will be playing on Monday against Bayside High of Queens an noon.

Terrence Samuel,  the point guard from South Shore High in Brooklyn, will be playing Saturday night at 8 p.m. against Princeton Day Academy of Maryland and again on Monday at 6 p.m. against Pope John XXIII of New Jersey. South Shore is one of the top public school teams in the city.

It would be nice if The Courant would post some statistics of Facey, Samuel & Brimah, so we can see what kind of a year they are having.
