The CBS Sports Network will broadcast the games from the Paradise Jam, which will include UConn and Quinnipiac, between Nov. 16 and 19 in the Virgin Islands.

This is not regular CBS, so don’t look for the games on Channel 3, but the CBS Sports Network. You will need to check your local listings and cable channel to find out if you have it and where to get it.

If you have DirecTV, it’s on No. 613. If you have Dish Network, it’s 158.

CBS Network will broadcast the men’s first-round and semi-final games on Nov. 16 and 18, and the championship and third-place games on the 19th, a total of six games, so if UConn or Quinnipiac were to lose early and fall into lower-seed games they would slip off the TV schedule. But for certain, you will be able to see UConn vs. Wake Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, and if UConn wins, the Huskies’ second  game against Quinnipiac or Iona will be on at 9 p.m. on the 18th  (These are Eastern times, the Virgin Islands are an hour ahead of us).

The full Jam field includes UConn, Iona, George Mason, Mercer, New Mexico, Quinnipiac, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Wake Forest. Click here for the tournament bracket,

It could be difficult to find the games, as it was for the games in the Bahamas last year. The trick for Connecticut viewers will be finding CBS Sports Network on your cable system, and if  its part of the package to which you now subscribe. For instance, in the Storrs area it’s Channel 318 on Charter Communications. If you are in Hartford, it’s listed as Channel 734 and 271 (HD) on Comcast.

Click here for the CBS Sports Network Channel Finder, and with your zip code and cable provider you can locate the channel in your area.

One Response to CBS Sports Network to Televise Paradise Jam, Including UConn’s Opener Nov. 16

Will the games be on one of ESPN’s websites? Most college games seem to be, but I don’t know if that applies to CBS Sports Network games.
