these ladies deserve this day today I got to watch it on t.v they all looked really nice I really liked what my girl dolson had on today it looked really nice on her
I am shocked that Drummond would even attend this event. One year of poor play does not make one a Husky. Secondly, Calhoun was unable to attend because of family. How many games will he miss this upcoming year, which appears to be a lost season anyways, also thanks to his negligence in monitoring the scholastic activities of his players. When someone is out frequently for one reason or another, it hurts their employer. It doesn’t appear that he can fulfill his obligations any longer and should step aside. Am I angry? Yes. They all get their pay win or lose. The fans will face a long, cold winter in CT.
Hey uhhh “buddy” STFU (figure it out). Okay, maybe that wasn’t polite. I’m sorry. Maybe I should have told you to go pound sand. Calhoun built this program. He should leave when he, his family and the AD agree on it. If it weren’t for him you wouldn’t even have a UCONN basketball program article to read about. Am I angry with you? Yes. Appreciate what he has brought to CT.
I was not happy with the outcome of Drummond’s season either. But would you rather that the top recruit that CT has ever had go play at Kentucky for a year? Fans need to support our players, he needed another year at least to become the great player I think we all thought he could be. But we have to be happy he chose UCONN and he is a Husky and will always be a Husky! We are all dissapointed as I am sure Andre is as well. Good luck Andre! Come back anytime!
Mike—Calhoun didn’t grow this program. UConn had a winning program long before Calhoun. Calhoun introduced the NON student athletes to UConn. He brought in the Miles and people of the ilk. Uconn never had a sanction until on Calhouns watch. Grades of student athletes were always good to great prior to Calhoun.
So why was the institution of UConn created?? for Basketball? or as an place where Connecticut citizens could/can get a great education while playing basketball.
Put the STUDENT back in Student Athlete.
Yes Chris why wasn’t it better to have Andre Drummond at KU and help THEM lose the Championship–nothing he did at UConn helped. Not in the GPA or in winning games.
