wheres the play button?
I just got in……Have you addressed more minutes for Giffey……That guy has not taken off a minute since he got here…..110% all the time
Small guards, no consistant mid range jump shooter and lack of a quick, athletic big man means lots of trouble with the zone.
can ex coach JC not sit behind the bench! let Ollie be his self….after all if wasn’t this coach’s fault uconn isn’t in any post season events!
Do you think with the end of the Big East and no post season for the Huskies, that they may have just ended their days at MSG with a loss? Would that somehow symbolize the end the decade long empire? No good big men, mediocre season at best, no post season, no Calhoun, untested Kevin Ollie for 6 years, no conference? There is no shame in being UMass I suppose.
I’m a 42 year Basketball Coach, with a solid Won/Lost record at the CYO and HS level, 3 New England Championships, 7 State Championships. I like what I see from Kevin Ollie, he has very good NBA experience of more than 10 years, played for a number of fine coaches, learned a “ton” of basketball, was a “Calhoun point guard”, and is doing a fine job WITHOUT recruiting any “players” OF HIS OWN CHOOSING. WHEN THAT HAPPENS, I THINK WE WILL SEE “THE WHOLE STORY.” RIGHT NOW I HAVE CONFIDENCE IT WILL BE POSITIVE. “WRITERS CAN WRITE!” THEY VERY OFTEN NEVER HAVE COACHED AND MADE MINUTE BY MINUTE DECISIONS. “FANS” ARE EVEN LESS “FAIR” TO COACHES THAN “WRITERS”, 95-98% OF FANS NEVER “PREPARED A TEAM” OR MADE DECISIONS AS COACHES HAVE TO AS GAMES ARE PLAYED. ENOUGH SAID? K.O.’S A WINNER! AND,HE’S GOT GUTS!
HE TOOK A HARD JOB TO FILL, AND WILL BE A SUCCESS, I BELIEVE. RECRUITING IS THE ONLY ITEM LEFT FOR HIM TO PROVE HE CAN DO. I BELIEVE HE CAN!
you tell ‘em, coach.
