Mailbag 6/1: Details for Jim Calhoun’s Alumni All-Star Game

Question: Will there be another Jim Calhoun All-Star game in August?  If so, when and where?

A: Several have been asking about this. Some of the details are finally ready to be released: The Jim Calhoun Charity All-Star Game, part of the Calhoun Charity Classic, will be back at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will be $12-$25.  There will also be an extensive autograph session with all the players after the game.  There are no details yet on what former Huskies will appear – the rosters will come soon - but you can count on most, if not all of your old favorites to be there.  All ticket proceeds go to benefit the Calhoun Cardiology Center at the UConn Health Center. In 13 years – over $4 million has been raised for the Cardiology Center.
