Shabazz Napier and DeAndre Daniels were among the 60 prospects in Chicago for the NBA Draft combines.
On Thursday, the players were measured and weighed and went through a series of shooting drills, including spot-up shooting from various spots, shooting on the move and off the dribble from various ranges.
Without shoes, Shabazz Napier measured 5-foot-11, and DeAndre Daniels 6-7 ¼, each an inch or so taller with their shoes on. (Of course, players play with shoes on.) Daniels’ standing reach was measured at 8-10 ½, his wingspan at 7-2.
Not sure what all this data means, but NBA.com does offer it here.
Our sister paper, the Chicago Tribune, caught up with DeAndre Daniels, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer caught up with Shabazz Napier. We round all that up on our main website here.
Also of note, Kevin Ollie will be at the XL Center on Friday as the AAC Tournament logo is unveiled.
