UConn vs. BC: Setting Things Up At The Garden …

NEW YORK – Looking live at the newly renovated Madison Square Garden, with UConn and BC to start in about 10 minutes.

Same lineup for the Huskies – Phil Nolan, DeAndre Daniels, Omar Calhoun, Ryan Boatright, Shabazz Napier. They’re 4-0, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it, right?

The Huskies are wearing their ‘United We Stand’ sweatshirts as they go through their layup drill, showing solidarity with the soldiers. The 2K Classic benefits the Wounded Warrior Project. “That hits home for me,” Kevin Ollie said this week, “after our trip to Germany last year, when I was around the soldiers.”

Remember when MetroNorth used to fairly efficient and almost always on time? Those days are gone, will just leave it at that.

Ollie played 10 players against BU, Terrence Samuel did not get in, and Kentan  Facey did for just two minutes late. With two games in two nights, he may try to use 12 players tonight, at least he hinted at that yesterday after practice.

Ollie was on with Joe and Evan on WFAN on Wednesday, here is a link to that.

I was on always entertaining Bower Show as I walked to the Garden from Grand Central, here’s a link to my Fifth Avenue Chat.

I’m looking at Jim Calhoun and Dee Rowe, sitting behind the Huskies bench. I’m on the baseline, and will be tweeting from here during the game, follow along at @AmoreCourant and on our main website throughout the night.
