UConn vs. Notre Dame: Checking in from Purcell Pavilion

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Checking in from Purcell Pavilion with a few pregame tidbits. UConn and Notre Dame start in about 30 minutes.

Same lineup for the Huskies – Tyler Olander at center, with DeAndre Daniels, Omar Calhoun, Ryan Boatright and Shabazz Napier.

Napier missed parts of practice Friday with a minor muscle strain. But he has participated in all the pregame workouts here and appears good to go for the game. No other injury issues.

Last year, when UConn ended the Irish 29-game home winning streak, it was an 11 a.m. start and the crowd here was rather docile. Would expect it to be louder today, though, as in most places, it’s a late-arriving crowd.
