UConn’s schedule for the 2012-13 season is out. We knew the major nonconference games already, of course, and we knew which Big East opponents the Huskies are to play twice.

Here we fill in the blanks, though many of the starting times are still to be determined. The league delayed things a week or so while the new commish was getting settled, but once it filled in the dates UConn was able to release the rest of its schedule, which begins for real on Nov. 9 with the game against Michigan State at Ramstein Air Force Base in southwestern Germany.

First Night is Oct. 12, with the first practice the following morning. Here is the full schedule as released by UConn:

  1. Gary says:

I thought UCONN was not able to play in the big east tournament due to NCAA ban this year. Why is the big east tournament still on this schedule for them>???

    • Jonny Ray says:

Do you not see the line drawn thru the Big East tournament…Dah

      • I actually don’t even know how I ended up right here, but I thought this post was very good. I do not know who you actually are but certainly you’re going to a prominent blogger if you aren’t presently

    • Howdy! This is my first remark here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I actually get pleasure from reading through your weblog posts. Can you suggest any other sites/internet sites/boards that deal with the similar themes?

  2. E says:

@ Gary, I was gonna say the same thing.

  3. Brian says:

Overseas game at Rammstein, Paradise Jam in the Virgin islands, jimmy V classic!! Way to Go Uconn Mens Hoops for sticking it to the Ncaa by scheduling as many in season special events as possible this year. One more thought if Uconn the Big Easts Marquee team were to be allowed to play in the Big East tourney this year and they ended up winning it would seem logical that the Ncaa would defer the automatic Ncaa tourney bid to the 2nd place finisher. Then again nothing about the Ncaa is logical.

  4. kevin says:

Let’s get out there and support our pups this year, I’m looking forward to making as many games as possible, who cares about the ban. Keep the grades up and playing good basketball!

Why are they playing Fordham at XL? I was looking forward to seeing Gampel for the first time.

  7. George Syms says:

What is the problem with playing in Hartford. All the other Big East teams have a big venue of stadiums. Keep it in Hartford good food, nice atmosphere, easy to get to.

  8. George Syms says:

Keep it in Hartford, You want big time Basketball like all other major teams.
