The UConn schedule for next season continues to take shape, with the Big East conference releasing its match-ups. Repeat opponents is the key here, more now that West Virginia is leaving the conference, so teams have four “home and home” match-ups

For UConn, which finished 8-10 in the league last season, the home-and-homes will be Providence, DePaul, South Florida and Cincinnati. The latter two of those teams made The NCAA Tournament last year.

The Huskies home opponents for 2012-13 are: Cincinnati, DePaul, Georgetown, Louisville, Providence, Rutgers, South Florida, Syracuse and Villanova.

On the road, UConn will face Cincinnati, DePaul, Marquette, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Providence, St. John’s, Seton Hall and South Florida.

Here are all the match-ups on the Big East site.

It breaks a bit easier than last season, perhaps, when UConn repeated with Syracuse, Notre Dame and Seton Hall, and had Louisville and Georgtown on the road.

Dates and sites for these games will come later this summer.

USF here! Woo Hoo – Dom I’m going to stop by press row to say hi this year. Last year I was too busy getting over spending $12 on my beer to move.
