Friends and partners

DePaul coach Doug Bruno and Geno Auriemma are great friends and worked together for the last four years coaching USA Basketball’s senior national team to the World Championship (2010) and Olympic gold (2012).

Long time

DePaul has not defeated UConn since 1993 and has lost the last nine meetings, the last three by an average of 33.0 points.

Top ranked

The Huskies lead the nation in points scored (82.5), scoring margin (35.5) and field goal defense (30.6). … Morgan Tuck, who did not play against Marquette Tuesday [knee], is expected to be play Sunday.

According to both the UConn Athletics and ESPN Web sites, the DePaul game will be televised on ESPNU. Also, SNY says its next telecast is at Providence.
