WHAT TO WATCH FOR

Dominating Duke

Since losing a chance to go to the 2006 Final Four to the Blue Devils in OT in the Elite Eight, the Huskies have won the last five games by an average of 29.2 points. The last time they played in Connecticut, the Huskies won by 36 against the 20-0 Blue Devils at Gampel Pavilion in 2011.

Only one left

The Blue Devils are the only remaining unbeaten team in Division I.  They haven’t had a game decided by fewer than 10 points.

Good record

The Huskies have won 13 of their last 18 games against teams ranked in the Top 5 by the Associated Press. This season, they have defeated No. 1 Stanford and lost to No. 5 Notre Dame. They have won 20 straight against teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Top ranked

The Huskies are first nationally in points scored (84.0), fewest points allowed (47.5), scoring margin (36.5) and field goal defense (30.6). The Blue Devils lead in three-point shooting percentage (43.2).

John: Nice breakdown of the two teams. Seems like Stewart will need to give 120 percent against the Dukies. Tuck I fear will get tested in this game, but hopefully CD will have her preped.
Will Shea be on hand for this game or will she be off on the recruiting trail. Maybe a Nevada stop???

UConn women are second in fewest points allowed- Green Bay is # 1 at 46.7. The Huskies are also #1 in assists and after Saturday’s 14,000 + home attendance, they are #2 in home attendance after Tennessee. Just some more facts…….
