Watch to watch for
Watch Jackson: The Knights guard scored 24 points in The American opener Saturday at Houston. She basically runs the team.
Big day: Along with it being a big day for the women’s program, UCF’s football team plays Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl Wednesday night. And South Carolina and Wisconsin play in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando during the day
Williams milestone: UCF coach Joi Williams won her 150th career game at Houston. She is a former USA Basketball assistant coach who is currently on the player selection committee for the under-aged national teams.
Recovery mission: Despite its lopsided 33-point win Sunday against Cincinnati, the Huskies did not play very well offensively, shooting 5 of 25 from three with more turnovers (11) than assists (10). Geno Auriemma hinted that perhaps a shorter rotation might solves that.
