Watch to watch for
Rough start: Memphis opened play in The American on Sunday with a home loss to Temple. The Tigers were within 55-54 with 1:33 left, but Temple closed with an 8-2 run. … The UConn game will be the second of a double-header that begins with a Memphis men’s game with Cincinnati. The women’s team usually plays at their campus facility.
Watch the ball: Memphis had 10 turnovers against Temple but had committed 20 or more in seven of the first 12 games. All of the Tigers except Wilder-Cochran (60 to 42) have more turnovers than assists.
Hearn in charge: The sophomore guard has either led or tied for the scoring lead in 10 of the first 13 games.
Milestone: When Dolson scores two more points, she and Hartley will become the third set of UConn classmates (2014) with 1,500 career points – Swin Cash and Asjha Jones (2002), Ann Strother and Barbara Turner (2006).
