Bakersfield.com: Auriemma Visits California Prospect
After Monday night’s Oklahoma game, the UConn coaches headed out in various directions.
Shea Ralph traveled to Chicago to say hello to Morgan Tuck, one of UConn’s three recruits for 2012.
And Geno Auriemma went to Bakersfield, California to see a player now of great interest to the program – 6-3 junior center Erica McCall.

Terrific post, JA! This is exceptional reporting for the compulsive fan base of the UCWBB team, to which I belong. It is these kind of ‘color’ stories that create the ‘love’ for Geno, the staff, the players and the program. Tell THAT to the new AD!
Incidentally, we do not have ‘rolls’ at our Rotary Lunch. Italian Bread!!! at our place! How about a visit and a talk after the season is over?
