Within a very short time, the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and CPTV Sports, the 24-hour sister of the state’s iconic public television network, will announce an agreement that will bring close to 20 games of the 2012 season into your living rooms or computer screens or i-phones or whatever device you use to stay in touch with the world.
While CPTV awaits word on its future with the UConn women (as does Fox-61 and SNY) this represents a positive step in the network’s relationship with women’s basketball and will go a long way to promote the best professional league in women’s sport today in the world.
