Connecticut Sun Release 2013 Schedule

The Connecticut Sun will begin its 11th season at Mohegan Sun Arena, and first for new coach Anne Donovan, against the Eastern Conference rival New York Liberty May 25 at 7 p.m.

The Sun will be home for six of their first 10 games, but will be tested early visiting tWestern Conference champion Minnesota June 1 and defending WNBA champion Indiana June 12.

Former Sun coach Mike Thibault will bring the Washington Mystics to the casino twice, June 7 and Sept. 6. The Sun will visit Washington on Aug. 11 and Sept. 13

Highlights include home games against Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm on June 16, Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury on June 29 and Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks on August 6. Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and the Lynx will be at Mohegan Sun Arena on August 22.

The Sun is hosting the WNBA All-Star Game for the third time on July 27.

Connecticut has five games each against Indiana and the Atlanta Dream, visiting both Eastern Conference contenders three times. The Sun close out the regular season with five straight Eastern Conference games.

    LJ taking more time off from Seattle. Agler might be scheming to get Dolson in April 2013.
