Listen, you can’t get what nature gave Kara Wolters, the size, aptitude and ability to become the national player of the year, a WNBA player, an Olympic gold medalist and a radio and television analyst.

But you can take advantage of the opportunity to learn a few things about basketball – and life – from one of the greatest players in UConn women’s basketball history.

Kara’s “Dream Big Camp” will be held in two installments this summer.

For campers in grades 6 to 12, there will be a camp at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT.,  from July 30-Aug 3. The weekly fee is $325.

For campers in grades 5 to 10, there will be a camp at East Long Meadow High in Massachusetts from Aug. 6-10. The weekly fee is $275.

For more information, check out Kara’s website www.karawolters.com

Or you can call 860-749-3573

Or you can contact camp director Kristen Mahoney at k5222@aol.com

Keep in mind, many UConn players have served as past camp counselors in the past and are likely to be there again. You can take pictures, get autographs and other neat things.
