The conference carousel  continues to spin and where will it eventually leave UConn?

You may have heard that Maryland of the ACC and Rutgers of the Big East are considering moves to the Big 10.

If Maryland goes, and Rutgers follows, don’t you think the ACC might have more interest in talking to UConn?

Read this story from www.espn.com and tell me what you think?

  1. Brown Arena tickets are cheap, but other than that nothing about Rutger (except Dailey) is worth while. Maryland lost to a non factor team today–so maybe the ACC will pay them to leave, besides they have the UConn expartiot coach Yep the ACC will pay big to get them to leave.
C Vivian never did have time to set up her Dynasty as she said she was doing. But I dont think the Big East will be around in 100 years.

Hate to see what’s happened to the Big East. At this point, it’s probably the ACC for UConn (my guess is that it’s a 50-60% probability if Maryland goes to the B1G). For the ACC, UConn would be a “net add” over Maryland. Clearly would be the best BB conference in the country.

Maryland football is terrible. b1g is a 2.5 team football conference – Ohio St, Meechigan, and Joe Pa U. Maryland football will still be at the bottom.

Maryland women’s basketball is still better than probably every B1G team except maybe Joe Pa U.

Maryland volleyball will be near or at the bottom and get hammered by Joe Pa U, Nebraska, Minnesota, Purdue, etc.

Maryland Lax and Field Hockey might win the b1g.

  4. Muslim–etc, Thanks for Remembering PaPa Joe the scapegoat of Sandusky–PaPa Joe got a bad rap. It was a knee jerk scandal. PaPa Joe was among the greatest Football Coaches and P.R> men in the country.

      Dont be an Idiot.

PaPa Joe was a scumbag and allowed abuse to go on for years. He would have been in jail if he was still around.
