John–Slow week for stories about UConn, huh??
Now this would be a great piece had it said Asia had accepted the UConn Scholarship. But with Uconn being one of 30–hoo hum. I’ll wait for the real stories.
if would have been better if John said she was a 6’5″ center
What about the report of the offer suggests a slow week. If the offer was made this week (and we know there will be no comment from UConn) then it was made and of course we’ll have to wait until the young lady makes a choice. But one thing is certain, if they do not offer the scholarship we can be pretty sure she would not be in Storrs next year, unless she is in a visiting uniform.
FREDDYKOOL: THANKS JOHN GREAT POST AND HEARS HOPING SHE PICKS THE NUMBER ONE NATION IN ALL OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL UCONN!!!!!!!!
And if she does, let’s hope she shows more than the #’s 1, 2, and 15 recruits in the country have shown this year. Not a one of them has shown as much as Jewell Loyd–very disappointing.
+1 billion
Great, another guard, again. No one to replace Dolson, still.
Just curious, last time I looked at the ratings seniors and juniors I don’t recall seeing more than a couple of players 6’4″ and I think no one taller than that. So maybe no Dolson’s are out there at this point. Just remember that Griner is done this year so no 6’8″ to confront either.
I don’t pay much attention to these at all. Waste of time at this point.
