Geno At The Travelers
While spending my morning and afternoon working on another story about Coach Auriemma’s legal plight with Kelley Hardwick, the Courant crew was out the TPC with the UConn coach as he prepared to tee-off in today’s Pro-Am.

If the story is Geno had heat stroke at the Travelers tourney–why is an insignificant woman’s name mentioned in the non story about nothing??
Why is the Courant, a home state news paper (I thought), digging and scratching for tidbits from people no one in Connecticut cares about. Do you think if you keep digging someone will say something damning about Geno?? They might, but slander is still slander and Liable is still liable–. Legally when sufficient possibilities are thrown around by one person or group I believe that the preponderance of evidence amounts to either slander of liable. Volumes of half or non truths become character assassination at some point, it would appear. Tread lightly, would be my advise.
Nice balanced story about Geno and Travelers Tourney, Booker T, Chris Dailey, etc. A bit about the distraction another Courant writer is obsessed with. But in General Mike wrote as a professional sports writer should —balanced and about the incident of heat stroke and the people in the tourney.
Not one mention of the name (I call) the shame of the NBA, unlike the one who wrote the above non story.
Has Geno admitted that he went for the kiss yet?
You’re a moron. What does that have to do with Geno being at the TPC?
Even in her reduced mental state Pat Summit is too much of a lady to make any comment on the non story, non issue to which you allude.
This was a great Story by Anthony about the Travelers Golf Tourney and Mr Auriemma’s bout with heat exhaustion. It was positive in all forms and speak more about the writer than the subject of his writing–he’s a professional. The writer of other stories seems obsessed with subjects–and cannot let them go, even when they have run their course. EDD, Walker, Etc. Vendetta?? Notice the ND/UConn NCAA score is still up on this site??? Negativisms are counter productive and have no place in good reporting.
agree with you there
