John, miss the Chat. Lots of talk about Kelly and KML and Stewart and Banks. Stewie is a talent that has an amazing up side. Lacks experience. Banks has experience and now add confidence she is great
About the Refs in the MD and Penn St games. Refs MUST call fouls, not pick and choose. P.S. decided to make it a volume fouling bump and grind game. The Refs HAD to call those fouls. The only way to stop intentional fouling is to call them intentional and call all of them. When they start losing players they shall stop fouling.
It will make a lousy game to watch but if the REFS are to be FAIR they must call all that they see. So Geno’s complaints (and I understand why) are misleading to fans. I’m sure he doesn’t want Penn st fouls overlooked.
Wasteful blathering. Breanna will continue to start, so that Kelly can focus on shutting down Alyssa Thomas, Maggie Lucas and the other top scorers not named Griner. Breanna allows Kelly to play her natural position, to have more strength by not having to pound against much bigger bodies, and for all Kelly’s strength as a defender, she is not an in-the-paint presence like Breanna, nor is she the rebounder Breanna is. Breanna is just scratching the surface. There is so much more to come. Saniya Chong as an offensive scorer has it all over Kelly; however, let’s not forget how skillful Kelly is as a passer. Looking forward to Saniya joining the Huskies. Wish Kelly had another year.
if n wish n if n wish……..
If Mulkey and Sims were having problems they must have made up. Sims it 27 points with a bushel of assists. Albeit against Oral Roberts U.
Sim’s in her after game interview gave the PARTY line–this is what good teammates do, I have great teammates, all the typical gushing crap most women’s teams gush after a game. The men say–yea, I was great. I made perfect passes, scored 2000 points, and the rest of those guys hugged the bench.
FREDDY what in the —-are you talking about??? Do you know??
Money is the deciding factor in sports. Lopsided games loose audiences and advertisers DO NOT LIKE that. Refs must seek to keep games clse OR refs will not work certain “BIG” games. Keepingmes close is an INTERSTING effort when one team is clearly superior. SO we have MANAGED GAMES that are GOOD for the Sport ?? Sme call it ROUGH STUFF-wresting matches – football games maquerading as basketball games !! Injuries due to this (videos) will result in MASSIVE law suits ! Beware regulators YOU are to blame – legally !
