What else can you say about Bria Hartley’s selection as the American Athletic Conference’s Player of the Week.

Hartley bounced back from her 4 of 21 (0 of 11 from three) performance at Maryland to tie her career-high with 29 points Sunday at Penn State.

Over the course of three games this past week, Hartley averaged 19.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists. Hartley’s 20 points led UConn against Stanford last Monday, followed by a 10-point, six-assist performance at Maryland. Bria also had five three-pointers, six rebounds and four steals at Penn State.

Also, the AP voter from Durham who voted UConn No. 2 last week has relented, The Huskies are the unanimous pick this weel for No. 1.

It would stay like that until Duke and UConn play at Cameron Indoor Stadium Dec. 17.
