haha , they might as well have the whole ncaa tourney in hartford. with the conference tourney and the ncaa first two rounds , why not ? then uconn could have home court advantage through out. matter of fact , they ought to have the whole regular season in connecticut , that would give uconn an even greater advantage.

Dude, who pee’d in your beer. You must be a St. Johns or Rutgers fan. As Geno says great teams can win where ever they play. The Big East, not UCONN decides where the Tournament is held. Changing the venue wouldn’t change the result of a 31 point victory. ND and St. Johns both beat UCONN on UCONN’S home court.

really lewis ? i see your uconn blinders are on pretty tight. sure , and what happened before uconn lost those two home games ? how many ?? i think it was 99….right? and how many conference championships were won on a nuetral court (like most ALL other conferences) ? uconn holds a record that will NEVER be broken. ” conf. champs.” AND “conf. tourney champs.” on their home floor. makes it pretty easy for geno to make that remark don’t you think ? i’m not taking anything away from uconn , by far , one of the two most successful programs. but that is an unfair advantage , i’m not saying it would have changed anything , but it would be great to have it at MSG like the men ? with all these teams coming to the big east from out west , i’ll bet it will soon be changing.

If UCONN gets to the Sweet Sixteen, which they should, you can take a short drive to URI where UCONN should be playing. So, in fact, UCONN could be playing in front of their home crowd through most of the tournament. Games are Sunday and Tuesday and tix are $50.
