The allegation that Geno Auriemma may have made an inappropriate pass at Kelley Hardwick, the NBA security official, has proven unsettling to many close to him and his family.

“I have been around Geno in countless situations over the past 25 years, at practically every hour of the day, in all sorts of different places, and I have never seen him act inappropriately in this kind of manner,” said Meghan Pattyson Culmo, who played on Auriemma’s first Final Four team, served as his assistant coach and was a long-time broadcaster of UConn women’s games for CPTV.  “Nothing ever like that.”

    ‘WHO DA THUNK IT?’

Geno kissed one of his players on national TV. I am sure the lawyer has a copy.

Kelly’s suit is not surprising. In all lawsuits once your are shot – U R SHOT.

Geno has stated the claim is false.

A women of color lost her job. She is not happy, would you be? Now let the process play out before choosing sides.

Me I am not waiting, Kelly is a bad bad naughty girl.

Be very careful what you say. One person is already threatening lawsuits using your IP address and your comments.

Of course ex-players are covering for Geno, they’re in awe of him. Reminds me of the Joe Paterno situation. I’m not surprised Geno did this. Watch The Geno Show and see how arrogantly he answers questions. He’s so full of himself, and thought the girl would gladly kiss him.

How are they covering him when they are actually telling the truth? Also what does Joe Pa have anything to do with it? He was fired. Not let go so how does it relate to this? and how do you even know he did what he did? Did you see him do it, etc? Until there is proof, he’s proven innocent til guilty.

It is so funny seeing you get annoyed

1 definition of a cult = a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc. Joe Pa was a person. Geno is a person. You do the math.

You have been after Gene ever since his team won the first championship. Grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. UCONN FAN says:

I am going to sue Geno Auriemma for calling me spoiled. I am going to sue his employer UConn as well.

  6. anonumous says:

UF you sir/mam are a troll. What does that have to do with the lawsuit?

  7. Tennessee Lady Vol Fan says:

I do not know the accuser. I do not know the accused. I do not know the accused’s assistant coach.

But based on their 27+ years at UConn, I sense that Geno and CD would not read JA’s blog and then come up with a cival lawsuit against an anonymous poster because of their comments.

Although we apparently live in an allegedly lawsuit happy country, I believe Geno and CD could care less what comments are made on JA’s blog. I do not think they are looking to take someone down even if they had a legal right to do so.

That in itself is just one reason why I chose to believe Geno is innocent of the alleged complaints.

    • JD says:

Nope. I don’t think GA or CD even go online or have the time to be online and read the childish behavior on this blog nor do they care what people think of them. I agree with you there and agree that he’s innocent unless there is proof he isn’t.

  8. OKC says:

Any update on Diamond Deshields aka DD ?

Any up on Elena Delle Donne aka EDD ?

    • JD says:

Don’t you read? EDD is still at Deleware and DD is going to UNC and what does EDD and and DD have to do with the lawsuit?

  9. Chris Saran says:

I wonder why Kelley Hardwick didn’t inform the authorities of the alleged incident right away. As far as former UConn players getting along with her, that has nothing to do with the case.

  10. Say It Aint So, Ge-no says:

If Geno admits to wrong doing or is proven to have done some or all of the allegations, wonder what Lobo and Culmo will say. Boeheim was quick to defend Fine before more information came out.

  11. Order & Law says:

I hope that UConn would have the decency to let Auriemma go in person. And not over the phone like Penn State did with Paterno. If he resigns or is fired, will there be candle light vigils outside his house?
